2026 Show Your Pride Backdrop
Narrative by Chandrayee Soneja (she/her)
The progressive Pride flag colors in the backdrop radiate outward in a bold, square color-wheel formation — not a circle, but a structured, intentional frame. The square represents foundation, strength, and stability.
Each color carries meaning. Each color represents people. Rather than blending into one, they stand side by side — distinct yet united — creating something far more powerful together than any one color alone.
The focal point of the design draws inward toward the person at its center, suggesting that while our identities are diverse, we are connected — part of one shared community.
Year four of the Show Your Pride campaign is about amplification, honoring the progress made and recognizing the work still ahead.
When someone steps in front of this backdrop, they’re not simply taking a photo. They are choosing to be visible, to stand in solidarity, and to affirm that we are here, we belong, and our visibility is power.
